Job Description:
As a Line Lead, you will play a key role in the on-site execution of assembly and installation tasks, directly supporting the Site Manager in delivering high-quality automation systems. You will be responsible for supervising a small team of technicians, coordinating daily tasks, monitoring safety and quality compliance, and reporting site progress to the Site Manager. This position requires hands-on experience with tools, fixtures, and pneumatic systems in an automotive or automation-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate a small team of installers or technicians to execute day-to-day activities on the assembly line
Follow installation procedures for tools, fixtures, and pneumatic systems under the guidance of the Site Manager
Ensure all assigned tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project timelines
Perform and document daily safety and quality checks
Provide hands-on support during installations, adjustments, and troubleshooting
Communicate task assignments, updates, and concerns with the Site Manager
Assist with inventory tracking and ensure required materials are available on-site
Support shipment receipt, tracking, and proper handling of components
Promote and uphold Safety Standards
Foster a positive and proactive work environment within the line team

Qualifications:

Technical diploma or associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Technology (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 3 years of experience in a mechanical or automation installation environment
At least 1 year of experience in a team or line leadership role
Must be open to travel
Familiarity with automotive customer standards (BMW, MB, VW, Tesla) is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead by example
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Basic understanding of safety procedures and ability to enforce them on-site
OSHA 10 or 30 certification is an asset
