We are looking for a Mechanical Technician to join our team. The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for general vehicle assembly operations, building prototypes, and ensuring that all mechanical systems are assembled to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general vehicle assembly operations, ensuring components are assembled accurately.
  • Build and test prototype vehicles and components.
  • Operate and maintain machinery and tools used in the assembly process.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to refine assembly processes and prototype designs.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure mechanical assemblies meet quality standards.
  • Utilize continuous improvement skills to enhance processes and systems.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve mechanical issues effectively.
Qualifications:
  • Certification or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with vehicle assembly and prototype development.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Strong root cause and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience:
  • 5 years of experience in mechanical systems, preferably in the automotive industry.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
