Job Overview
GableTek is seeking up to three experienced FANUC Robot Programmers for an upcoming automation project in Marshall, Michigan. This project is scheduled to begin in mid-July and is expected to last approximately four weeks, with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance.
The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience programming, troubleshooting, and supporting FANUC robotic systems in manufacturing and automation environments.
Responsibilities
- Program, modify, and optimize FANUC robot applications
- Troubleshoot robot, process, and production issues
- Perform robot touch-ups, recoveries, and path modifications
- Support system commissioning, startup, and production launch activities
- Work closely with controls engineers, electricians, and manufacturing teams
- Verify robot functionality, cycle times, and process quality
- Document programming changes and project updates
- Follow all customer and site safety requirements
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience programming FANUC robots in an industrial environment
- Experience with robot troubleshooting and production support
- Ability to perform robot touch-ups and process adjustments
- Experience with robotic cell commissioning and startup activities
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and process documentation
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Experience
- Automotive manufacturing experience
- Spot welding, MIG welding, material handling, assembly, or sealing applications
- FANUC HandlingTool, SpotTool, ArcTool, or PaintTool experience
- PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
- Vision system integration experience is a plus
